BlueView Software Download

1) Call BlueWave Security at 760.929.9596 to get login credentials to download the software.

2) Click HERE to download the BlueView software installation package. You will be prompted to enter the user name and password obtained above (Step 1).

3) Unzip the downloaded file and double-click on BlueView_v15.2.xxxx.xxxxx.exe to start the installation.

4) Refer to the BlueView15ReadMe file (included in the installation package) for more information about installation and links to additional software downloads.

IMPORTANT – Additional Software Downloads

  • Before running BlueView, Microsoft SQL Server must be installed.
    • Microsoft provides a free edition called Express which is available here at this link:
      Microsoft SQL Server – Version 2008 R2 with SP2
      (Choose SQLEXPRWT_x64_ENU.exe for 64-bit or SQLEXPRWT_x86_ENU.exe for 32-bit Operating System)
    • BlueView currently supports the following versions of SQL Server:
      SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2012 R2
      (Support for SQL Server 2014 COMING SOON)
    • When installing SQL Server, most users can use all the default settings, except on the “Database Engine Configuration” screen. Under “Specify SQL Server administrators”, click Add Current User, click Add and enter the Administrators user group.

If you have trouble logging in
Some users have reported problems logging into the site with the user name and password. Please make sure that your computer’s operating system has all the latest patches and is up to date. You might also try another web browser.
