FOR RELEASE AT ISC WEST 2007
Announcing to the Security Market at ISC West 2007
Austin – March 21, 2007 – BlueWave Security, The Wi-Fi Lock and Security Company, is pleased to announce the impending release of the Network Generation™ of access control. The NetGen™ family of door controllers delivers all the features of panel-based access control systems at about the cost of a stand alone lock. The formal unveiling of the product line will occur at the ISC West Conference in Las Vegas on March 28th where BlueWave will be featured in the Clark Security Products booth.
“Access control vendors that have moved toward the use of Ethernet and TCP/IP by providing ‘retrofit’ kits for panel-based solutions do nothing to eliminate the cost drivers of their panel-based systems,” said Mance Harmon, Founder and CEO of BlueWave Security. “The NetGen™ product line approaches the problem of physical access control from an IP network-centric perspective. BlueWave reduces costs by replacing control panels with a software application and individual lock controllers that connect directly to the data network using Ethernet or Wi-Fi interfaces. The BlueWave Network Generation™ approach eliminates long wire runs, scales one door at a time, enables remote management of individual doors and when used with Power-Over-Ethernet, eliminates the need for power supplies and the use of electricians at the door.”
This newest addition to the BlueWave family of access control solutions supports industry standard Weigand output readers and 12 and 24 volt locking devices. Customers with existing Weigand readers can leverage their investment to reduce cost by using NetGen™ controllers to upgrade legacy systems.
Product packages are available for small to medium sized businesses as well as enterprise-class customers across a vast array of industries including: Commercial, Government Municipalities, Healthcare, Industrial, Institutional, Retail and Transportation.
